Job summary

Modern Industries in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pull products daily for assembly, follow pull lists, stock and prepare shortages, and ensure accurate lot tracking.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, 0–1 year warehouse experience, basic math, and be comfortable using Windows and MS Office. Training on MII Inventory System provided; lifting up to 30 lbs. Equal opportunity employer.

• Ability to learn MII Computer Systems and read hard cards.

Responsibilities

• Pulls necessary product daily for assembly.
• Follows pull list to build kits.
• Stores incoming parts and fills shortages in a timely manner.
• Responsible for bonding supplies, updating and tracking lot expirations monthly.
• Performs cycle counts (daily/quarterly/yearly) and counts when needed.
• Follows safety protocols when using cutting tools and PPE.
• Sends product to another building when requested.
• Bags up hardware for storage.

Job description

• Pulls necessary product daily for assembly.
• Follows pull list to build kits.
• Stores incoming parts and fill shortages in a timely manner.
• Responsible for bonding supplies, updating and tracking lot expirations monthly.
• Performs quarterly and yearly cycle counts; daily counts when needed.
• Follows safety protocols when using cutting tools (ex: scissors, boxcutter).
• Wears required PPE to prevent contamination on parts.
• Sends product to another building when requested.
• Bags up hardware to be stored.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Knowledge of inventory control and flow.
• Basic math skills. Basic Microsoft Windows navigation and Microsoft Office use.
• Understand how to use MII Computer Systems for Inventory, or capacity to learn.
• Ability to use part traceability information.
• Ability to read and understand hard cards.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent;
• Minimum 0-1 years product pulling/stocking related experience, warehouse experience, or have demonstrated skills to perform the tasks above.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Must be able to push cart weighing more than 30lbs when filled with product.
• Must be able to use a pallet jack.
• Must be able to stand for extended period of time.
