Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented inventory professional to manage front end and pharmacy stock. You will execute and monitor inventory best practices, including receiving, counting, ordering, pricing and returns, while ensuring planograms and on-hand balances are accurate.

In this role you will review reports, assist with pricing tasks, support stock transfers, and help maintain asset protection and store operations.

Qualifications

Six months of Walgreens experience or one year in retail.
Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask and execute.
Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

Execute, monitor and train inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy.
Manage receiving, counting, ordering, returns and planogram accuracy.
Review reports and systems impacting on-hand balances and pricing.
Open/close duties in designated stores and perform cash handling where needed.
Engage customers and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
Coach team on warehouse, vendor inventory processes and pricing tasks.
Assist with pharmacy shipments, recalls and recalls posting as required.
Support on-shelf availability, vendor returns and inventory audits.
