Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for store and pharmacy.
• Review reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection and handle overages/shortages, returns, and postings.
• Open/close store in absence of management including cash handling and POS duties.
• Engage customers and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Oversee warehouse/vendor inventory management: create, review, and receive orders.
• Scan deliveries, perform One-Box receiving, and coordinate returns and pricing updates.
• Verify pharmacy shipments postings and recalls under pharmacist supervision.
