Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage store inventory for both front-end and pharmacy operations in a busy retail setting. The role emphasizes accuracy in receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram adherence.

As the on-site lead during designated shifts, you will assist customers, handle cash tasks, coach teammates, and ensure seamless warehouse and vendor inventory processes. Fluency in English and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of prior retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory procedures across store, front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Ensure on-shelf availability, pricing accuracy and planogram compliance.
• Open/close responsibilities as needed, handling cash and POS tasks when on duty.
• Coordinate warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including scanning deliveries.
