Job summary

Walgreens in Denver, CO is seeking an Inventory Specialist to execute, monitor, and improve store inventory practices across front end and pharmacy. You will handle receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, returns, planogram accuracy, and stock integrity.

You will also review reports, support asset protection, and assist in daily store operations, including opening/closing in designated stores, and delivering excellent customer service during shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal) or one year of prior retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store (front end and pharmacy).
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Champion On-Shelf Availability and validate planograms.
• Review and coordinate use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection and handle related recalls and discrepancies.
• Open/close designated stores and perform cash handling and POS duties as needed.
• Engage customers, deliver excellent service, and resolve issues when leading on duty.
• Coach team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including orders and scanning deliveries.
