Job summary

University Health in San Antonio seeks an Inventory Clerk to assist with the inventory, ordering, receipt, storage, and issue of repair parts and materials. You will perform related clerical tasks and ensure compliance with department policies while maintaining good relations with staff and guests.

The role emphasizes timely, efficient completion of duties and proper use and care of equipment and supplies. Prior experience in stores operations is preferred, with a focus on repair parts.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or its equivalent is required.
• College level courses in business methods, bookkeeping, general stores operations and a commercial school course in computerized supply and storage operations are preferred.
• At least one year in supply and general stores operations and the use of a computer program in the control of stores is preferred.
• Two or more years of the aforementioned with emphasis on repair parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the inventory, ordering, receipt, storage, issue and control of repair parts and materials and performs related physical and clerical tasks.
• Completes duties and assignments in a timely, efficient and competent manner.
• Complies with UHand departmental policies and regulations.
• Assures proper use and care of equipment and supplies.
• Maintains good guest and working relations.

Education
