Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Inventory Management professional in La Vergne, TN. The role focuses on design and execution of demand planning, forecasting, and stocking optimization to minimize costs while meeting service requirements.

Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm or until tasks are completed, with responsibilities spanning cycle counting, DEA compliance, recalls, and reporting. The incumbent will supervise staff, drive process improvements, coordinate with DC teams, and ensure policy adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years experience.
• 3+ supervisory/management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, and monitors daily cycle counting operations to provide inventory information for customer orders.
• Processes reports for movement of control products and narcotics per DEA regulations.
• Validates/processes DEA documentation and processing of class II customer returns.
• Ensures morgue operations adhere to vendor return policies and outdates are managed.
• Processes recall items and maintains item profiling and descriptions, including bar code maintenance.
• Coordinates with other DC supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Motivates employees to meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
• Trains new employees and conducts performance appraisals with DC management.
• Prepares and submits daily and weekly reports.
