Job summary

Cardinal Health in La Vergne, TN, seeks a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to lead a team responsible for pick, pack and ship activities on day or night shifts. You will coach staff, monitor safety, quality and productivity, and ensure on-time shipments that uphold Cardinal Health's service standards.

You will schedule and prioritize work, analyze metrics, conduct performance evaluations, participate in recruiting and onboarding, and drive operational excellence across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience, preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work assignments and performance of Group Leads and Associates.
• Tracks efficiency and productivity metrics to determine tasks behind- or ahead-of-schedule, and provides hands-on guidance to ensure tasks are completed safely.
• Monitors productivity and quality metrics including cycle times, lines per hour, shortages, damaged units, and missed dispatches; reports to Manager, Warehouse Operations.
• Determines root causes of productivity or safety issues and directs staff to resolve them.
• Identifies opportunities to improve operations and supports operational excellence initiatives.
• Performs performance evaluations and provides coaching; conducts interviews and onboarding.
