Job summary

Digi-Key Electronics in Minnesota is seeking an Inventory Optimization Associate to optimize and manage space for current inventory, including shelves, trays, and reserve utilization. This is an essential on-site role requiring regular attendance at our facility in Thief River Falls.

You will reconfigure space layouts, put away products, and re-home items to maximize efficiency. The role involves evaluating TE utilization and adjusting stock levels to prevent overages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team to meet departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Gray Shelf and Case Shelf locations utilization.
• Reconfigure gray shelf and case shelf realignment as a result of the executed project.
• Put away product as needed as a result of the executed project.
• Re-home product based on the best utilization of space.
• Recognize and recommend new space configurations.
• Test new process flows for new WM locations.
• TE utilization.
• Identify and qualify “TE” products as needed as a result of the executed project.
• Inventory: Identify and changing active maxes on items that have too much stock in the OSR.
• Removing iLPNs from the OSR that’s has over stock in the OSR.
• Re-homing iLPNs to other areas to better utilize space.
• Fixing iLPNs with issues when removing or rehoming.
