Job summary

DigiKey is seeking an Inventory Optimization Associate in Minnesota to optimize and manage space for current inventory, including buildings, trays, shelves, and reserve utilization. This is an essential onsite role requiring regular attendance.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 1:30 pm–10:00 pm. Starting base pay is $20.00/hour with potential differential pay. DigiKey is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion and accommodations upon request.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
Ability to actively participate as a team member in order to meet departmental goals.
Ability to provide a positive, professional and enthusiastic outlook or perspective.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task as well as the ability to change focus quickly based on requests by employees/management.
Able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Optimize Gray Shelf and Case Shelf locations utilization.
Reconfigure gray shelf and case shelf realignment as a result of the executed project.
Put away product as needed as a result of the executed project.
Re-home product based on the best utilization of space.
Recognize and recommend new space configurations.
Test new process flows for new WM locations.
TE utilization.
Identify and qualify “TE” products as needed as a result of the executed project.
Identify and changing active maxes on items that have too much stock in the OSR.
Removing iLPN’s from the OSR that’s has over stock in the OSR.
Re-homing iLPN’s to other areas to better utilize space.
Fixing iLPN’s with issues when removing or rehoming.
