Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented associate to manage inventory for both front end and pharmacy. You will receive, count, price, and process returns while ensuring on-shelf availability and accurate planograms. Under pharmacist supervision, you will verify shipments and assist with recalls and postings.

You will greet customers, resolve questions, coach team members on inventory systems, and support pickup programs. A flexible schedule including evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens retail experience or one year in external retail.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor store inventory processes for front end and pharmacy.
• Review reports and systems to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing.
• Maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection and handle losses and vendor claims.
• Open/close store duties in absence of management and ensure readiness for business day.
• Engage customers, assist with products and services, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Lead by example in customer service and relay best practices to team members.
• Coordinate warehouse and vendor inventory activities, including ordering and receipts.
• Verify pharmacy shipments, postings, and recalls under pharmacist supervision.
• Complete on-shelf availability (OSA) and inventory counts, including transfers and returns.
• Support pricing activities, shelf display accuracy, and regulatory pricing tasks.
• Assist with front end and pharmacy ordering and maintaining inventory levels.
