Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking an inventory-focused associate to oversee store and pharmacy inventory, pricing accuracy, and asset protection. You will handle receiving, counting, ordering, and returns while supporting pharmacy inventory and recalls.

The role includes opening/closing duties and cash handling in designated stores. Strong English communication, attention to detail, and flexibility for evenings/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices across store and pharmacy.
• Review reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection and process returns.
• Open/close store in the absence of management, including cash handling and cashier responsibilities.
• Assist in receiving, counting, ordering, and stocking deliveries and recalls.
• Support pharmacy inventory activities and pharmacy recalls.
• Ensure pricing accuracy, signage, and regulatory pricing tasks.
