Job summary

Walgreens in Ballston Lake, NY is seeking an Inventory/Operations teammate to execute and monitor store inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy. You’ll handle receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, and planogram accuracy while supporting asset protection and on-shelf availability.

In this role you will review reports, manage warehouse and vendor deliveries, and assist with recalls, price changes, and interstore transfers.

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and resolving problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor store inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy.
• Review reports and systems to keep front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing accurate.
• Perform inventory asset protection tasks and manage vendor returns and recalls.
• Open/close the store in the absence of management and handle cash duties when applicable.
• Coaches team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including orders and deliveries.
• Engage customers, deliver service excellence, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure planograms are correctly implemented.
