Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics is seeking a Group Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations in the assigned area, coordinating personnel, equipment, and inventory to meet productivity goals while maintaining safety, quality, and SOP adherence.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics/operations and 2+ years in leadership, with knowledge of SAP and MS Office. The group leader will drive Lean/5S initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of warehouse experience required.
• 2-3 years of prior leadership or management experience required.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety, and quality standards.
• Ability to lead teams and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety principles and promote a safe work environment at all times.
• Enforce compliance with standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks.
• Supervise and direct associates within the assigned operational area.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and inventory to meet daily productivity and targets.
• Implement and uphold company values, mission, policies, and standards across responsibilities.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to review shift performance and needs.
• Support development and implementation of engineering/technical standards focused on continuous improvement.
• Maintain and update manpower planning documents and communicate staffing needs.
• Participate in operational meetings to plan, execute, and achieve business goals.
• Support Lean Management initiatives and 5S workplace organization.
