Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking an Inventory Associate in Norfolk, VA, to manage store and pharmacy inventory with a focus on accuracy and availability.

You will assist with receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, returns, and planogram compliance, while supporting front-end and pharmacy operations and ensuring a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include training teammates on inventory processes, executing shelf replenishment, and handling vendor deliveries.

Qualifications

• Six months Walgreens experience or one year retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices and SOPs for the store (front end and pharmacy).
• Support pharmacy inventory management including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Maintain On-Shelf Availability and accurate pricing and planograms.
• Open/close store in absence of management and handle POS tasks as needed.
• Coaches team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes and package deliveries.
