Job summary

Walgreens in Norfolk, VA seeks an inventory and operations associate to execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, planograms, and on-shelf availability. You will support warehouse and vendor processes and ensure accuracy of on-hand balances.

You will engage customers, assist with everyday store operations, scans deliveries, post pharmacy shipments, assist with pricing tasks, and help maintain inventory

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year in retail.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor and train inventory best practices for store and pharmacy.
• Support receiving, counting, ordering and returns; ensure planogram accuracy.
• Review reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Open/close store duties in designated stores when needed.
• Scans deliveries, processes orders, and maintains inventory counts.
