Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory-focused associate to join our store team in Minnesota. You will manage daily inventory activities for front end and pharmacy, ensuring accurate counts, pricing, and planograms while supporting vendor and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities include customer service, store opening/closing duties where needed, and coaching teammates on inventory compliance and POS operations. A flexible schedule is required for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• “Achieving expectations” rating on last performance review and no written disciplinary actions in the previous 12 months (internal candidates only).
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices across store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
• Champion On-Shelf Availability and manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes.
• Open and close the store in designated stores, including cash handling and cashier responsibilities.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including receiving orders, scans, and returns.
