Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking an Inventory & Materials Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records and support manufacturing operations. You will manage transactions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), perform cycle counts, and help ensure inventory accuracy while supporting lean initiatives.

You will also stage and kit materials for work orders, monitor stock movement, and maintain a clean, safe stockroom in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years of inventory control, stockroom, warehouse, or materials management in manufacturing.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for inventory management, transactions, work orders, and materials tracking.
• Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory control, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and maintain certifications as required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inventory identification, verification, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular monitoring, reconciliation, and transaction processing.
• Enter, update, and maintain inventory data and transactions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Perform inventory reconciliation activities daily or as required.
• Monitor material issues and inventory movement from stockroom locations.
• Pull, stage, and kit materials for manufacturing work orders.
• Process work orders, pick lists, and inventory transactions in support of manufacturing operations.
• Assist with work order completion and job closure activities.
• Support lean manufacturing and Kanban replenishment processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean stockroom and inventory storage area.
