Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking an Inventory & Materials Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records and support manufacturing operations in a dynamic warehouse setting. You will manage material handling, cycle counts, and ERP transactions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), ensuring timely availability and lean flow.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and process improvement within Compass Water operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of inventory control, stockroom, warehouse, or materials management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for inventory management, transactions, work orders, and materials tracking.
• Knowledge of cycle counting, lean manufacturing principles, and inventory control practices.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and maintain certifications if required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, email, and general IT.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to teamwork and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inventory identification, verification, and cycle counting per procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through monitoring, reconciliation, and transactions.
• Enter and maintain inventory data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Reconcile inventory daily or as required and track movements from stockroom locations.
• Pull, stage, and kit materials for manufacturing work orders; process work orders and inventory transactions.
• Support lean manufacturing, replenish stock using Kanban or other systems, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
