Marotta Controls, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist I to join our Montville, NJ team. The role focuses on issuing materials, cycle counting, and supporting accurate inventory balances. You will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to shop paperwork and daily operations.

The position requires basic math, effective communication, and proficiency with MS Office. Overtime is common, and the job location includes Parsippany and Montville offices, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent GED.
Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator.
Familiar with work orders and shop paperwork.
Effective verbal/written communication skills for interactions at all levels.
Computer literate, MS Office/PC experience.

Responsibilities

Receive, track, and distribute materials and supplies.
Prepare routine administrative paperwork.
Read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
Enter materials from internal and external locations into stock and computerized records.
Assign primary stock locations as necessary.
Pull/pick materials for work orders.
Operate safety-critical tools and equipment (e.g., Hem Saw, Chop Saw, Belt Sander, forklift, crane, pallet jack).
Maintain accurate inventory counts and records.
Distribute and perform material handling duties.
