Job summary

Common Citizen in Michigan is seeking a Material Handler to join the Supply Chain team. You will help manage inventory, pull orders, and support the safe storage and delivery of materials to manufacturing and retail operations.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-growing greenhouse environment. The position offers a Monday–Friday shift and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inventory management and/or material handling experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensures orderly and timely distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
• Orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
• Keep a well‑maintained and updated account of stock and inventory; assist with weekly cycle counting.
• Receive and unload freight, properly verify quantity/quality with Purchase Order record and input into inventory.
• Ability to drive a box truck.
• Use company box truck to make deliveries to affiliated retail stores.
• Must have accountability, proactive behavior, strong attention to detail.
• Can follow company policies and contribute towards the goal of achieving targets within set timelines.
• A willingness and desire to put in the work to make our mission a reality.
• Other duties as assigned.
