Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills, good organizational abilities, and be able to differentiate part numbers. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, distributes, and stores products in designated locations throughout the plant.
• Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods manually or with hand trucks or skids.
• Resolve issues with supervisor or team leader when problems arise.
• Collect and dispose of scrap materials; maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Sese Industrial is a greenfield operation that has an immediate opening Material Handler. The Material Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations throughout the plant.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
• Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
• When problems arise, resolves issues with supervisor or team leader.
• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good math and written communication skills.
• Reading/Attention to detail. Must be able to differentiate between part numbers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Efficient time management skills.
• Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.
• At least two years of related experience preferred.

Other Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Order and cleanliness of their area and its environment
• Respect and communicate "quality and environment" as well as the rules of health and safety.
• Work with Logistics, Maintenance and Quality
• Able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Able to stand/and or walk for 10+ hours per day.
• Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools.
