Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support our operations in the Michigan facility. You will move material and inventory, use hand trucks and conveyors, and assist in packing, labeling, and scanning products to fulfill customer orders.

The role requires basic math, ability to read safety rules, and teamwork. A minimum of 1 year in a warehouse environment is preferred, with flex scheduling including possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to do basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating procedures.
• 1 year of warehouse experience is a plus.
• Experience using a handheld scanner is preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility to support operations.
• Operate hand trucks, conveyors, or other material handling equipment.
• Pack, scan, kit, or count products as needed.
• Verify orders, label products, and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean work environment.
• Work safely to protect yourself and teammates.
