Job summary

Northwell Health in Hillside Manor, New York is seeking a dedicated Inventory Clerk to receive, store and track deliveries, fill department requisitions, and deliver supplies to hospital units. You will maintain accurate records using UPC codes and inventory software, and operate forklifts for moving loads as needed.

Responsibilities include weekly inventory reconciliation, following department policies, and supporting medication delivery areas as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior related inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to count, verify quantities, and understand basic math.
• Ability to read instructions and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receives and stores deliveries of product, equipment and supplies.
• Fills requisitions from departments and issues stock to units.
• Maintains records of inventories received and issued.
• Transports and delivers stocks to hospital units and floors.
• Operates lifting equipment, including forklifts, as needed.
• Maintains clean, orderly Material Management areas.
• Accesses medication delivery areas as required and follows policies.
