Job summary

The WIKA Group is seeking a materials planner in Georgia to support production by coordinating material requirements, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and supplies. Candidates should be able to use ERP/WMS AXAPTA and possess strong math skills.

Responsibilities include reviewing schedules, conducting cycle counts, handling forklift tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using ERP/WMS AXAPTA is preferred.
• Strong numerical and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, work orders, requisitions, and customer orders to determine material requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts or physical inventories
• Weigh or count materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Pick, stage, and deliver parts, tools, and supplies to production, stocking, or shipping locations
• Transport materials using carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, tugs, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently
• Remove and return empty containers, excess materials, and returned items from production areas
• Storage, Stocking & Point-of-Use Support
• Sort, store, and sequence materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to established standards
• Stock and replenish materials at point-of-use locations to support continuous production
• Receiving, Identification & Documentation
• Open containers, label materials, and mark items with required identifying information
• Compile and complete required documentation, worksheets, or tickets per specifications
• Workplace Organization & General Support
• Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs
