Job summary

Gowanda BTI in Arcade, NY, seeks an Inventory Control Clerk I to support production by ensuring accurate receiving, storage, inventory, and kit preparation for manufacturing. You will maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and assist audits under supervision.

The role requires 1–2 years related experience, strong organization, and proficiency with Excel. Working hours are Monday–Friday, early shift, with a focus on material availability and production continuity.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, kit, stage, and deliver materials required for production orders.
• Verify materials, quantities, and part numbers to ensure complete kits for production.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and records.
• Receive, store, organize, and replenish inventory in designated areas.
• Maintain proper identification, labeling, and storage of inventory items.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify personnel when shortages occur.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Participate in inventory audits and be available during audits.
