Job summary

Mercury Electronics has an opening for a Material Coordinator reporting to the Materials Manager. The role requires managing inventory in our in-house system, establishing records, and maintaining accuracy through counts and value.

You will support Kanban/min-max processes, process requisitions, and sign off on BOMs and ECNs. Ideal candidates will be highly organized with strong math, communication skills, and experience with ERP/database systems.

Qualifications

• Highly organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize work.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High levels of basic math accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Experience with databases and/or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Must use in-house computer system for all inventory records.
• Establish inventory records with all necessary data.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory with regards to physical counts and monetary value.
• Maintain kanban and min/max systems as directed by customer requests.
• Timely processing of truth tables, generating requisitions to purchasing through the process.
• Sign off on Bill of Materials and Engineering Change Notices (ECN's) and adjust inventory as required.
• Assist material clerks as needed with daily job duties.
• Run reports through in-house computer system.
• Keep management informed by analyzing and summarizing reports and other information.
