Job summary

AMETEK Programmable Power Business Unit in San Diego, CA is seeking a Material Coordinator to support manufacturing by verifying inventory, performing cycle counts, reordering, inputting data, and pulling kits. This role requires coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth material flow and timely production.

Work in a warehouse environment with responsibilities including stock maintenance, material movement, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• 3 years of related work experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work cell stock locations.
• Trigger order signals for components on electronic replenishment.
• Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Process backorder items and expedites materials.
• Loads, moves and unloads material to inventory locations.
• Complete and process all related documentation.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure efficient material flow.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure movement of materials to production.
