Job Summary
The Material Coordinator supports the assigned manufacturing department with materials. Tasks include verifying inventory, cycle counting, reordering, inputting data, kit pulling, and carrying out safety checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain work cell stock locations.
- Trigger order signal for components on electronic replenishment.
- Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Process backorder items and expedite materials.
- Load, move, and unload material to various inventory locations.
- Complete and process all associated documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of all materials and evaluate all materials sent to production department.
- Coordinate with production lead and department managers to ensure accountability for all materials.
- Check incoming materials for any defects or flaws that may need to be addressed prior to use in manufacturing.
- Inform production lead and manager when inventory is low or when materials are no longer usable due to defects or damage.
- Monitor material inventories to ensure that the correct number of materials is on hand at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- 3 years of related work experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment.
Physical Demands
The role requires standing for long periods of time, walking, handling items, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must be able to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

Salary Range
The hourly pay rate for this position generally ranges from $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. Actual salaries may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
