Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia seeks a Materials Analyst to support inventory requirements for Yancey Engineered Solutions.

You will ensure materials are available for production and help optimize supply chain and inventory processes by delivering timely data to the Supply Chain leaders. You will work with Receiving, Procurement, Production and Project Management to ensure accurate flow from purchase to consumption, analyze data, publish KPIs, and participate in safety and process improvement

Qualifications

• Read blueprints or learn how to read mechanical drawings.
• Safety, quality and teamwork oriented in daily work.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean process improvement.
• Strong analytical skills with statistical tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory is available for production using Dynamics 365.
• Support material picking and resolve transaction issues.
• Collaborate across Receiving, Procurement, Production, and PM to process inventory from purchase to consumption.
• Understand routes, staging, picking locations and help set Min/Max.
• Support material flow improvements on floor and in warehouses.
• Monitor processes and provide feedback for optimization.
• Supply and analyze data; assist managers in creating KPIs.
• Publish KPIs and discuss trends with managers and the Process Engineer.
