Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Griffin, GA is seeking a Shipping Technician for Yancey Engineered Solutions to join the kitting team. You will perform inventory transactions, pick and kit materials, and support production with timely material delivery.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 1 year in stockroom or warehouse roles, experience with barcode scanners and inventory systems, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Safety and accuracy are valued highly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in stockroom/warehouse/kitting.
• Experience reading verbal instructions and following procedures.
• Experience with barcode scanners and inventory systems.
• Able to lift 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and kit components for production per kitting lists.
• Label and organize kits clearly according to procedures.
• Record inventory transactions in the WMS during picking and kitting.
• Deliver materials to the plant to support production.
• Identify shortages or quality issues and report them.
• Assist with shipping/receiving and returns processing.
• Load and unload transfer and delivery trucks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow safety programs and wear required PPE.
