Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is hiring a Materials Analyst to maintain accurate inventory levels and control of materials within receiving and storage areas. You will monitor supplier deliveries, perform cycle counts, and provide timely reporting to support supply chain performance.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year experience in inventory management, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience in inventory management in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and stay organized.
  • Proficient in MS Office and data entry.
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical inventories to ensure proper levels for plant operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory in receiving and storage areas.
  • Conduct cycle counts and provide feedback to the Materials Supervisor.
  • Generate daily material lists for outage reports.
  • Report shortages or damaged inventories to Receiving Clerk / Materials Supervisor.
  • Communicate material issues to production to avoid downtime.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory system with high urgency.
  • Utilize AMI systems including MRr, Power BI, Mainframe, Elwin, and Recon.
  • Generate BOL for shipments and schedule pickups.
  • Monitor Production WIP against planning and supplier deliveries.
  • Support safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs with cross-department collaboration.
  • Cross-train in other Receiving areas as assigned.
