Lockheed Martin is seeking a U-2 Inventory/Material Supply Technician at Beale AFB, CA. You will manage parts, tools, and supply functions for the U-2 program, ensuring accurate records and compliant storage in a high-security environment.

The role emphasizes detailed inventory management, material handling skills, and safe operation of forklifts and related equipment. Strong communication and adherence to safety policies are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years USAF/Aircraft parts supply experience.
• Proficiency with forklifts, pallet jacks and material handling equipment.
• Detail-oriented with accurate inventory records.
• Strong organizational skills and safety awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain clean storage areas.

Responsabilités

Standard Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:
You will be the Lockheed Martin AFS, U-2 Inventory/Material Supply Technician for the Depot Level Maintenance Teams, responsible for Parts, tools and supply functions within scope of the U-2 Aircraft stationed at Beale AFB, California.

• Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
• Establish and Maintain (WIP) Work In Progress parts and supply. Store components in a safe and organized designed in accordance with Lockheed Martin and Local Procedures. Overall site focal point for tools Hazardous Chemicals and Bench stock items and all inventory Management.
• Performs nonstandard and complex tasks using advanced techniques and in-depth discipline knowledge. Analyzes requirements for special projects, recommends methods and processes, conducts research, and assists in investigational studies. Supports the design and development of new or modified equipment, methods, or systems for enhanced performance. Evaluates and resolves calibration and troubleshooting issues.
• Demonstrates expertise in specialized functions, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of general and technical aspects of the job. Applies knowledge to solve complex problems and handle challenging situations

Further Information About This Opportunity:
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Candidate must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. Basic Qualifications

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• \- Minimum 3 years of USAF/Aircraft Parts supply and or Aircraft Experience.
• \- Equipment operation: Proficiency in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• \- Attention to detail: Ability to inspect materials for damage, maintain accurate inventory records, and follow instructions precisely
• \- Basic inventory skills: inventory tracking, counting, and reporting.
• \- Organizational skills: To keep storage areas and workspaces clean and efficient
• \- Safety awareness: Knowledge of OSHA or facility safety protocols to prevent accidents

Desired Skills

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from other candidates:

• \- OSHA Certs.
• \- Forklift qualified multi level. 5k 10k. etc
• \- Experience in inventory management.
• \- Bench stock management Tool Room management.
• \- Experience in tool control and hazmat handling.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $27.79 - $51.59

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
