Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Property Equipment Manager in Sumter, SC to oversee GFP/GFM, contractor property, tools, and consumables for Force Protection equipment, ensuring accurate inventory, lifecycle tracking, and readiness.

Responsibilities include maintaining MIS records, coordinating shipping and international logistics, conducting inventories, and supporting asset disposition to sustain a 98% Fully Mission Capable rate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 years of DoD/federal property/logistics experience.
• Experience managing serialized equipment and lifecycle assets.
• Experience with shipping, international logistics, and hazardous materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
• Active Secret Clearance; pass drug screen and background check.
• Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GFP, GFM, contractor property, parts, tools, and consumables records.
• Maintain real-time lifecycle records including serialized asset details and locations.
• Manage storage, warehousing, receiving, inspection, COSIS.
• Conduct inventories; reconcile discrepancies; update asset records.
• Coordinate with OCONUS FSRs to update work orders and status.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipping, customs, and hazardous materials.
• Support lifecycle planning, asset transfer and disposal; audit-ready reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
