Job summary

CN is seeking a Material Handler to administer multi-step paper material transactions, manage pick lists, and create purchase requisitions for stock and non-stock materials. The role involves documenting and tagging damaged or repairable items, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating inbound/outbound logistics within a unionized warehouse environment.

Applicants should have warehouse operations experience, a valid forklift card, a driver’s license, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office;

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Material Handler or be able to qualify.
• Must have a valid forklift operator's card or pass a forklift operation test.
• Must hold a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Administer multi-step paper material transactions and manage pick lists.
• Create purchase requisitions for stock and non-stock materials.
• Document and tag returned and repairable materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across all material movements and reconcile reports.
• Handle shipping, repairs, returns, and RMA requirements.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound material logistics and track shipments.
• Organize warehouse layout and optimize bin locations.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile records.
• Perform physical movement and staging of materials.
• Operate in PPE and forklift safety requirements.
