Job summary

D is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and stock a variety of products for storage and distribution. You will maintain inventory levels on the sales floor and support warehouse operations across tasks like receiving, counting, weighing, and shelving.

The role involves mobile handling: using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment to move goods safely and efficiently while reporting discrepancies and ensuring correct stocking procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Material Handler or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and stock control methods.
• Forklift certification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, unload, count, weigh, measure, code and store materials from freight vehicles.
• Move materials using material handling tools including forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, and dolly.
• Open crates and boxes using appropriate tools and secure materials on pallets for distribution.
• Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation on the sales floor and storage areas.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and properly store equipment.
