Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Distribution Clerk (Inventory and Lens Order) to ensure accurate and timely entry of material orders and product selection for Rx and stock orders.

You will run inventory reports, perform cycle counts, verify Rx accuracy before lab processing, and help keep the warehouse organized while complying with company policies. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in distribution/logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and use a laptop with 10-key typing.
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Key lens/frame purchase orders accurately into the system for vendor transmission.
• Access and interpret inventory and order reports in software.
• Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.
• Ensure compliance with promotions, policies, and procedures.
• Verify Rx accuracy before lab processing.
• Match shipping memos and invoices; process payments per procedures.
• Maintain lab operating system and keep work area neat and organized.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
