Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Store Inventory Associate to execute, monitor, and train on inventory best practices across both front end and pharmacy operations.

You will support inventory activities, including receiving, counting, pricing, and vendor returns, while ensuring compliance with planograms and safety policies. Responsibilities include reviewing reports, safeguarding assets, and assisting with daily store operations, including opening/closing duties when required.

Qualifications

• Six months of retail experience or one year of external candidates.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices for the store and pharmacy.
• Review and coordinate use of reports affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Manage front end and pharmacy asset protection, including returns and overages.
• Open/close store as needed in the absence of management, including cash handling.
• Assist with inventory receiving, counting, ordering, and shipping/disposal as required.
• Support warehouse and vendor deliveries, including scanning and context of DSD orders.
