Job summary

Marquee Staffing is seeking a Materials & Inventory Specialist II to support inventory control, material handling, receiving, and production kitting in a manufacturing setting. You will maintain accurate records, process ERP/MRP transactions, and ensure materials are available and properly routed.

The role requires detail orientation, comfort in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to operate in an on-site facility. Prior experience with ERP/MRP and kitting is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in inventory, materials, warehouse, or stockroom roles.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience required.
• Kitting experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to read and follow pick lists/work instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Able to lift/move materials safely in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts/materials.
• Count and record inventory; perform cycle counts; investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain ERP/MRP transactions and inventory locations.
• Build and stage production kits using pick lists.
• Label and organize inventory locations and materials.
• Move materials between receiving, stockroom, production, and shipping.
• Prepare basic inventory reports using ERP/MRP and Excel.
