Job summary

SpaceXAI in Mississippi is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support data center operations. You will manage receipt, storage, issuance, kitting, and traceability of high-value materials like servers and networking gear. The role emphasizes accuracy, just-in-time delivery, safety, and quality as we scale.

This hands-on position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, rotating shifts, and the ability to work in a fast-paced data center environment while maintaining strict inventory controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of inventory control experience.
• 3+ years of inventory control experience in warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience with inventory, kitting, and material handling processes.
• Experience operating forklift and related equipment.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, electronics, technology, or data center environments.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, procedures, and parts lists.
• ERP/WMS system experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue raw materials, parts, and hardware for data center construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Store parts in designated locations and accurately identify parts and locations.
• Maintain strict material handling practices and ensure kit accuracy.
• Perform picking and kitting to assemble kits and verify item availability.
• Verify material received against paperwork and maintain traceability.
• Issue material against approved paperwork and maintain lot/serial traceability.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Follow procedures, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Manage schedule priorities and work independently to meet site deliverables.
• Maintain housekeeping in inventory and staging areas.
• Support material flow and just-in-time delivery to internal customers.
