Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee a defined logistical area in inventory control, replenishment and cycle counts. You will ensure storeroom stock and manage receiving for large facilities projects, while supporting data-driven decisions for inventory and staffing levels.

Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, you will audits, correct match exceptions, and coordinate with vendors to backorder management and asset

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years inventory management experience.
• Experience with inventory audits and data integrity.
• Ability to develop queries and support data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a defined logistical area in inventory control, replenishment and cycle counts.
• Maintain adequate storeroom stock and manage receiving for large facilities projects.
• Assist in back order management and vendor coordination.
• Update and maintain the two-bin Kanban system and asset tracking.
