Job summary

Lennox International is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to maintain accurate inventory in our Parts Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS. You will perform cycle counts, audits, and investigate discrepancies, collaborating with receiving, packing, shipping, and returns teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

You will work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. This role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to operate barcode

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety rules, product labels, and shipping/receiving documents.
• Basic math, counting, measurement, and data-entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn and use barcode scanners, warehouse management systems, enterprise resource planning systems, computers, and other job-related technology.
• Effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow standard work, meet safety and productivity expectations, and adapt to changing assignments and priorities.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift, including overtime, weekends, or schedule changes when business needs require.
• High school diploma is optional, but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and directed cycle counts, location audits, and inventory verifications.
• Monitor inventory movements and warehouse system transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Research discrepancies involving quantities, locations, product identifiers, damages, and transaction history.
• Complete authorized inventory adjustments and maintain supporting documentation.
• Partner with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns teams to resolve inventory issues.
• Identify recurring errors, communicate root causes, and support corrective actions and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate item and location information and support slotting or replenishment activities as assigned.
• Follow safety, quality, security, and housekeeping requirements while working throughout the facility.
