Job summary

Lennox in Olive Branch, MS is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to ensure accurate, organized inventory and support cycle counts and audits. You will collaborate with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping teams to resolve issues and improve processes in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Ideal candidates have basic math and data-entry skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn barcode scanners and warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety rules, product labels, and shipping/receiving documents.
• Basic math, counting, measurement, and data-entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn and use barcode scanners, warehouse management systems, enterprise resource planning systems, computers, and other job-related technology.
• Effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and directed cycle counts, location audits, and inventory verifications.
• Monitor inventory movements and warehouse system transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Research discrepancies involving quantities, locations, product identifiers, damages, and transaction history.
• Complete authorized inventory adjustments and maintain supporting documentation.
• Partner with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns teams to resolve inventory issues.
• Identify recurring errors, communicate root causes, and support corrective actions and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate item and location information and support slotting or replenishment activities as assigned.
• Follow safety, quality, security, and housekeeping requirements while working throughout the facility.
