Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Manager to assure inventory accuracy and quality across the distribution center and related facilities. The role leads Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke and other methodologies to minimize waste and costs while maximizing customer satisfaction and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in quality assurance, inventory control and/or customer service within a distribution center or similar environment.
• 1+ year in a managerial role and/or leading teams.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team to contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide and support implementation of quality assurance solutions and ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory counts and outbound shipment quality.
• Lead ICQA team to collaborate with DC management on process improvements.
• Manage root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Oversee inventory profiles and quality data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, and FMEA.
