Job summary

Jabil seeks an Inventory Controller for first shift in Memphis to monitor material transactions, identify discrepancies, and drive root-cause solutions. You will analyze variances, propose corrective actions, and work with multiple departments to prevent reoccurrence.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, reporting, and supporting materials management initiatives while ensuring safety and adherence to procedures. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong written and oral communication with groups of managers, clients, and staff.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and Jabil's internal tools.
• Advanced PC skills and comfortable navigating manufacturing/ERP systems.
• Capable of simple data interpretation and basic graph reading.
• Detail-oriented with strong numbers literacy for cycle counts and transactions.
• Ability to work overtime and support other Inventory Control roles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all material transactions for assigned areas.
• Identify, resolve, and root-cause discrepancies and inventory errors.
• Recommend changes to reduce future inaccuracies.
• Support material handling and cover other Inventory Control roles as required.
• Minimize manufacturing downtime related to the assigned area.
• Perform regular component cycle counts as required.
• Execute inventory transactions and reporting in customer systems.
• Contribute to materials management systems to improve inventory control.
