The role collaborates with shipping, purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels, release transfer POs, and monitor aging backorders while maintaining 30% target inventory. Strong analytical and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year inventory control experience required.
• Meets commitments, ownership and urgency in results.
• Attention to detail, problem solving, and proactive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with shipping/receiving, purchasing, inter-branch warehouses, and sales to minimize backorders and maintain 30% target inventory.
• Release stock transfer POs between inter-branch and satellite branches to fill orders.
• Monitor stock transfer POs daily to ship backorders to inter-branch customers.
• Identify truck space requirements and optimize truck layout for efficiency.
• Build weekly truck pick-up schedules and coordinate materials between production and warehouse.
