Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Stockton, CA is seeking a detail-focused Shipper/Receiver to manage shipping, receiving, and stocking finished goods. This swing shift role runs 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and uses ERP/SAP for order processing, labeling, and inventory control.

You will operate forklifts and related equipment, meet safety standards, and collaborate across departments. The position is full-time, non-exempt, union, with hourly pay of $18 plus a $1.50 shift differential and no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat Training (will certify at hire) required.
• 1 year warehouse, logistics and/or shipping experience required.
• Equipment: Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Safety: Prioritize safety with safe work practices.
• Attendance: Reliable, punctual attendance.
• Reading Comprehension: Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet. Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing lists, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
