Job summary

Jabil in Florence, KY is seeking an Expeditor Lead to coordinate material flow between production and inventory control, ensuring timely delivery of materials to support uninterrupted operations.

Responsibilities include expediting material requests, tracking movement, verifying quality, and supporting audits. Hours are Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., on site at our Florence facility.

Qualifications

• Experience using SAP/ERP systems in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to manage material flow and coordinate with production and inventory teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main communications link between production teams and inventory control.
• Release, stage, and deliver materials to production areas on time.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or risks.
• Track material movement to ensure accuracy between records and usage.
• Prioritize and expedite material requests based on schedules and urgency.
• Coordinate timely flow of materials to prevent delays or bottlenecks.
• Verify materials meet specifications and quality requirements.
• Support inventory audits and process improvements to reduce delays.
