Job summary

Jabil is seeking a hands-on Inventory Control leader to oversee daily operations per established procedures in our Florence, KY facility. You will monitor performance, streamline material handling, and coordinate with engineering, program management, and quality teams to ensure accurate stock and timely production support.

The role emphasizes timely material movement, precise record-keeping, and adherence to safety policies, with opportunities to suggest revisions to procedures for efficiency

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring department performance and optimize procedures.
• Drive for shortest processing time of received material and improve processing time.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in proper working order and up-to-date.
• Provide feedback to Inventory Control and Quality departments and assist with problem solving.
• Interface with supervisors, engineering, program management, and other plant functions.
• Maintain accuracy of shipping, receiving, and stockroom records.
• Verify aging of material in receiving/shipping locations and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure production line receives correct parts for manufacturing.
• Stock all material promptly and accurately.
• Identify performance issues and communicate with Inventory Control supervisors.
• Adhere to safety, health rules, and security procedures.
