Job summary

Sight & Sound is a values-driven organization in which we manage inventory and e-commerce across locations. The Inventory & E-Commerce Specialist leads inventory strategies, oversees stock levels, and coordinates counts to optimize storage and costs.

You will drive data-informed decisions for promotions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure profitable operations. The role requires strong analytical and numerical skills, expertise in inventory practices, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of Sight & Sound’s inventory management strategies across all retail channels: ensure a secure and accurate inventory control system, oversee inventory levels between locations and coordinate regular counts.
• Strategically manage inventory quantities, optimizing storage capacity, lead times, and cost.
• Utilize sales and pricing data to make recommendations for promotional strategies and profitability improvements.
• Partner with Retail Supervisors to provide direction to Merchandise & Inventory Leads, ensuring tools and training for productivity and profitability.
• Manage and execute all e-commerce functionality, including listings, inventory, fulfillment, and customer service; collaborate with Brand Creative on product photography and features.
• Create and maintain strong partnerships with Business Development, Retail, and Accounting teams to support core values and culture.
• Travel required: at least one trip per year to Branson, MO location
